Make sure the surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery if you are in america.
As long as you find a good surgeon they will walk you through the process and will you help you choose the options best for you.

It is not a good idea. Do you know that implants expire? It is not a one time deal. Most women (96%) of women get them taken out after ten years! Some even less than a year though. And a doctor in a magazine said that the inscions cause scar tissue which make the implants make your boobs uneven. It truly is not worth it. Again, it is not a one time thing, they do expire. Think of the thousands of dollars you are wasting on your body. You could be on an island for months with that money! Or retire years earlier. Or be driving a new hot whip! Come on, do not fall for that crap.
By the way, this is a female on a males account.

i would look at the pros and cons of it all. i thought about it too once but when i found out that you have to get them changed out every couple years and most likely you will loose all feeling in your nipples. oh i quickly changed my mind.

Saline looks more natural but starts to sag real soon. Silicone breast are hard and do not look real. You can never get any cleavage with silicone.
The price is about the same. From $ 4000 to $ 10,000 depending on your doctor and where you live.
Make sure your doctor is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.!!!
I have had both and I regret doing it. I wish I had stayed flat chested. The stay sore and hurt if you try to sleep on your stomach. You are not supposed to wear bras with underwire becasue it could rupture them. There are just so many negatives than positives in doing this.
Ask you doctor the chance of rupture and what would cause them to.
Ask him the pros and cons of silicone verses saline. Most doctors do like to use silicone anymore.
Ask you doctor how long they will last. Because they do not last forever. About 10 yrs would be the life span before you have a rupture. They also break down your natural skin tissue.
Ask your doctor is they are implanted behind or in from of the breast muscle. Never let them do it unless it is behind the breast bone, they will repture more easily.
Ask what chance their is of your body rejecting the implants
It would help if you would study the pros and cons before you make your decision. Find a support group that have had problems with them and you can get a lot of good information
Hi,I did the following:News post: .
Q&A: Information about Breast Augmentation.?
Im thinking about getting a breast augmentation. Theres just a few questions I have. I am currently a large person. Im 5’2″ and 215lbs. Im going to be working out and loosing a lot of weight, this I am determined to do so its gonna happen. If I get the augmentation and start losing weight will this effect anything? My breasts are currently a 40DD and rather saggy, I had a kid 4 years ago so they arent what they used to be. I dont want my breasts to be that big when I have them done I would like a C or possibly a D depending on how it will look. My main goal is to make my breasts more “perky” I hate them now they sag way too much. I want a natural look as well. So I guess my main questions are, what kind of breast augmentation should I get if I want to decrease the size and lift my breasts, and will loosing a significant amount of weight after having the augmentation done effect the quality or the procedure?
Any information you can give me is appreciated.

You need a reduction and a lift.

Have you thought about the risks of general anesthesia? I just don’t want your kid to be without a mother…. (not everyone wakes up from anesthesia).
Don’t get me wrong. I fully understand your desire to get back in shape. I just think the risks aren’t worth it.

I’m not exactly sure how these things work. but in my opinion you should go talk to a doctor about it first. and second, if you’re thinking about getting it before you loose weight- you’re going to have a lot of downtime after the surgery and not be able to move/work out very well= more weight gain? I had two lumps removed 4 months ago and my breast is still extremely painful. i had to go a month of wearing a normal bra and a sports bra, and a month and a half of not lifting anything more than 15 pounds. and i cant imagine that the recovery would be much better but probably would be worse. I think you should try and loose weight and have that be a reward at the end. because if you get the surgery and start loosing weight- is the weight going to come from your breasts making them a different shape? even after the surgery? I wouldn’t want to take the chance of ruining it. also remember that getting things put into your body like that needs attention for the rest of your life.
so in short- i think you should loose weight first see how you look and if you decide to go through with the procedure treat it like a reward for all your hard work.

To get the best out of any cosmetic surgery such as this, you probably want to wait until you lose the weight to get the augmentation. You don’t know how much your bust will reduce after your weight loss, because everyone loses weight differently. You might end up as a C or D cup after you lose all the weight, and would just want a lift. Also getting a lift now will be partially defeated after losing weight, because they’re going to sag a little as you lose weight. Not as bad as if you hadn’t gotten the lift, but not nearly as good as getting the lift once you’re happy with your weight. Maybe hold it as a reward for losing the weight?
But, best of luck with the weight loss!
